In a previous blog (25 August 2011) I wrote about the three wars convulsing Libya. The tangle of NATO's war, of the war encouraged by the West's client faction in the Transitional Council, and of the bitter, deadly self-sacrificing war of the Libyan people continued to Gaddafi's bitter end.
NATO bombed his fleeing convoy. The rebels fought their way past his bodyguards and killed him. The Transitional Council announced the victory. It was left to that pipsqueak, British Foreign Secratary Haig, to warn Libyans about their future.
The people who laid down their lives in this popular revolt did not do it for British/French oil. The tensions of Libya's future are going to emerge very soon. From the point of view of the interests of the vast majority of the Libyan people the struggle for the future of the country has just begun.
